How to Make Hawaiian Pork Chops in your Instant Pot

Light and Easy recipe that will be on your table in about 45 minutes. How to Make Hawaiian Pork Chops in your Instant Pot makes Tender, Juicy Pork Chops drenched in a deliciously appetizing sweet and savory Hawaiian yummy sauce. Add this instant pot recipe to your easy weeknight meal plan! Serves 6 

Ingredients: 

6 1” thick pork chops 
Black pepper, to taste 
1/4 cup flour
2 teaspoon olive oil 
1 clove garlic, crushed 
1 large onion, chopped 
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons dry mustard 
1 teaspoon sugar 
2 tablespoons white vinegar 
6 pineapple rings
2 tablespoons chopped parsley 

Directions:

Set your Instant pot on sauté add oil. Season chops with pepper and lightly coat with flour. Brown 2 or 3 chops at a time adding the garlic to the last chops when you turn them over. When the last chops have been browned on both sides add the rest of them in instant pot. 

In a small bowl combine the onions, ginger, mustard, sugar and white vinegar then pour over chops. Close lid, make sure vent is closed turn off sauté method then select pressure on high for 13 minutes. Manual release for 10 minutes then open vent to release the rest of the steam. Open lid carefully. Remove pork chops to a platter. Taste sauce adjust any seasoning, if needed. Add the pineapple rings in the warming instant pot for 3 minutes.

To serve: garnish each pork chop with a warm pineapple ring and sprinkle on some chopped parsley.
